ADIDAS FOOTBALL
Football is one of the most important business units within the adidas brand. The bulk of my work for adidas through ATTTD studio is for the Football business unit, specifically on delivering digital user experiences for the many football campaigns which are released each season.
Adidas features three primary football boot styles that headline its seasonal marketing campaigns: X, Predator, and Copa. Each season, new iterations of these styles are launched, accompanied by special editions and tiered variations at different price points. These styles are often supported by bold and innovative marketing campaigns.
We are engaged to work with stakeholders to craft and deliver a comprehensive Dotcom user journey. The goal is to fully tell the story of the campaign, driving users to first be curious, then to learn more, and finally to buy.
As the adidas website is a vast platform with many gateways to other campaigns, stories and products, it is important to present marketing tools in a deliberate manner along the user journey. As users navigate from Homepage, to Gender Landing Page or Category Landing Page, to Product Listing Page and further to Product Detail Page, we can gradually unfold the story without overwhelming them with repetitive visuals.
The Product Detail Page is the final destination for users and the key point for conversion. It offers a variety of storytelling components, from technical highlights to athlete and design narratives, and we are able to utilise a wide variety of components from the Adidas component library to craft the story.
The Adidas mobile app is the brand’s primary platform for user engagement. It not only drives product storytelling and sales but also encourages users to sign up for Adiclub membership, fostering long-term engagement for future launches, raffles, and campaigns. Designing a campaign for the app presents a great opportunity to utilize a diverse selection of components to communicate the campaign effectively.
I have successfully delivered numerous global campaigns for Adidas through ATTTD Studio, spanning across their dotcom, mobile app, and CRM platforms. These campaigns have included launches for various shoe models, activations for major global football events, and promotions for other football products. My work consistently drives engagement and supports Adidas’ global marketing efforts.
